I thought the brainstorming section was useful. The author stated that great ideas can come out of terrible ones. I liked how he suggested many ways of recording all ideas - even unrelated ones. I think that it is important to keep any record you may have when brainstorming a project. Usually when you come up with a bad idea the complete opposite comes to mind shortly after. One may not even use an idea during brainstorming, but it is a helpful practice to get into. It is key to give the brain exercise when planning a project. It may take more than a couple brainstorming sessions to even come close to what you want to begin to work on.

Yes, and if you keep ideas that seem bad or useless at the moment, later on you might look at them and get a totally different and helpful perspective on the idea that you can actually use
Our creativity is unlimited, so we can write anything down for record, and so brainstorming is useful not to forget about any ideas that may come up in our mind. Brainstorming is great for any creation process such as writing.
